Classes for Women

  • Forever for our Good - Deuteronomy  - A Study of Deuteronomy by Katie J. McCoy Ph.D. What comes to mind when you think of the biblical laws of the Old Testament? Perhaps a list of rules that don't apply to our time and place? Or a section of Scripture you just try and power through, something mostly irrelevant since Jesus has come? The truth is, these laws are hidden gems of grace for your benefit even today. In this 8-session Bible study for women, author and theologian Katie J. McCoy walks through the book of Deuteronomy, an invitation to abundant life found through faith-filled devotion to the Lord alone. At the core of Deuteronomy is love. God sets His love on us, and as we learn to love Him with all our hearts, souls, and strength, we learn to love our neighbor as ourselves. This kind of love fulfills the entire Law, puts the character of God on display through our lives, and is forever for our good. Click here to order the book.

  • Jesus Over Everything - A Study of Colossians - Join us for a 7-week journey through the book of Colossians. Discover the unchanging truth that Jesus Christ is supreme over all things, sufficient for every need, and enough for every season of life. Written by women from our own church family, this study features live teaching from its authors each week, followed by table group discussion designed to help you understand God's Word and apply it to everyday life. Come grow in your love for Christ, be grounded in the gospel, and experience the fullness of life found in Him.

  • Women Equipped: A Cohort for Women Being Raised Up to Teach and Lead - Do you sense God growing something in you that hasn't found its shape yet? Are you already serving - or longing to serve - as a Bible study leader, HEART Group facilitator, mentor, or ministry team leader? Women Equipped is a 13-week training cohort designed to help you grow from "I love studying the Bible" to "I am equipped to lead others in studying the Bible." Over one semester, you'll work through teaching from Lifeway Women's Academy, practice the inductive Bible study method, and build practical leadership skills - facilitating small groups, leading volunteers, sharing the gospel and your testimony, and navigating conflict and care with wisdom. You don't need years of theological study. You need a willing heart and a hunger to be truly equipped - not just inspired, but trained. Space is extremely limited. To protect the depth of discussion and personal coaching this cohort offers, we're keeping the group intentionally small - just 8 to 15 women. This isn't a big class you slip into; it's a close, committed community you grow alongside. Once spots are filled, we won't be able to add more women this semester. Pray about it. If the Lord is leading you here, reach out today - spots will fill quickly. Registration coming soon.
  • Other Bible study classes and Heart Groups are offered during the week. Visit the Women's Ministry Page for details.
