Men's Ministry

Our Purpose:
To see men become all they can be through Jesus Christ by:
Knowing the Word of God:
"Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it." Luke 11:28
Becoming a Prayer Warrior:
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." Col. 4:2
Establishing Godly Relationships:
"Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Matt. 4:19
Becoming a Spiritual Leader:
"Since we live by the spirit, let us keep in step with the spirit." Gal. 5:25
Being a Good Steward of Time and Resources:
"Remember this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and whoever sows generously will also reap generously...God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Cor. 9:6-7
Developing Disciples:
"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations..." Matt. 28:19
Our purpose is to be an instrument of God in His transformation of ordinary men into mighty men of God; training, equipping, and preparing them for spiritual battle, calling them to fight the good fight, finish the course and keep the faith. So that they may please the One who enlisted them as a soldier.
We believe, that according to Ephesians 6:12, we are in the midst of a spiritual battle that requires that we be strong, equipped with the full armor of God, ready to resist in the evil day and stand firm. The Men's Ministry of FBC Forney exists to make men aware of this battle and to prepare them for their role in it as good soldiers of Christ (2 Tim 2:3).

Iron Men Discipleship
Focus on using the Bible as our playbook for life and executing God’s game plan through:
Weekly Groups
- GC4 University Classes - Sundays at 6:00 pm - Jan. 8 – Mar. 4
- Book is entitled: Shoulder to Shoulder - The Apostles by Gene Getz. The class will be led by Richard Mason.
- Thursday Breakfasts - starting Jan. 12, mornings from 6-7:15 am

Game Nights – The third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Garage. Don't forget to join us for games, snacks and fellowship. The third Thursday of every month in the Garage. Park in the back parking area. Bring a friend!
