Dr. Jimmy D. Pritchard - Senior Pastor

Dr. Pritchard began his ministry at First Baptist Church in April of 1994. He earned his bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. His master's and doctorate were both earned from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. Prior to coming to First Baptist Church, Dr. Pritchard pastored churches in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. His last pastorate before First Baptist Church was at Congress Avenue Baptist Church in Austin. He and his wife, Jeannette, were married in 1979. Their children are: James, his wife Kim, sons Judah, Josiah and daughter Jolie Beth; Julie, her husband Taylor Franks; and John.
