How to Join
We are glad you chose to worship here with us at First Baptist Forney. To become a member of the church or discuss any other decisions, you may talk to one of our pastors. At the end of the service, an invitation will be given to come forward and speak to one of the available ministers.
You may join by:
SALVATION & BAPTISM
By professing your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and
following Him in believer’s baptism.
TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP
By transferring your letter of membership from another Southern Baptist Church.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
By statement of your faith in Jesus Christ and that you have been baptized by immersion after salvation.
BAPTISM
By statement of your faith in Jesus Christ from another denomination that does not practice believer’s
baptism. This is a statement of faith in Christ and a willingness to be biblically baptized by water submersion. Click here for more information on baptism.
FIRST PLACE @ FIRST FORNEY - New Member Orientation
1st Place gives our new or prospective members an opportunity to discover their gifts and find their place of service in our church. You will also be given an opportunity to join FBC Forney. Classes are offered periodically and announced in the bulletin. Click here for more information.
