State Missions

State of Texas (our Judea)

Hispanic Church

Several years ago, FBC Forney planted a new Hispanic church. Sunday Hispanic worship services are designed to praise and glorify our Heavenly Father through scripture, sermons and song. Worship is on Sundays at our downtown campus, 309 E. Bois d' Arc in Forney.

Visit our hispanic ministry website for more details.

River Ministry

The River Ministry purpose is to help construct churches, parsonages, and clinics in the Rio Grande Valley and/or in Mexico. FBC Forney began sponsoring these projects in 1996 and has continued every year since then. The construction team has been very visible, both in the Valley and also locally. They are in much demand every year.

If you are interested in more information about the next trip click on the mission trips link.

Apartment Ministry

The apartment ministry will work to evangelize areas in our community that are un-churched.  This will include but is not limited to bible clubs, surveys, block parties and other outreach projects.  Targeted groups may include Tiffany Square Apartments in Terrell and Summerhaven in Forney.

Interfaith Housing Coalition, Dallas, TX

This ministry provides housing and other resources to families that are homeless and in need of assistance.  There will be designated trips throughout the year for teams from our church to go work in different capacities.  Interfaith Local will give our church an opportunity to minister to families in Forney that are one step away from being in a crisis situation. We can work along with Interfaith to provide mentoring, training, help with budgeting, job search, career counseling and also help out financially.
