Mission Challenge

Mission Challenge

What: We have challenged every Bible study class to adopt a mission project

How: Partnerships and projects are formed by identifying a mission opportunity the entire class can participate in.  If you want more information on getting involved please email slyle@fbcforney.org

Who
: Anyone can participate and there are many ways to be involved.  Talk to your Bible study leader or class missions leader to volunteer.

Why:  To effectively engage Christians to:

PRAY– Intentionally and strategically for missionaries, projects, and partners

Luke 10:2, He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

GIVE – Abundantly of our time, money and resources to meet specific needs and reach our world for Jesus Christ

2 Cor. 9:12-15, "This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 13 Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing.

GO– Sending out short and long term missionaries from our church to go and make disciples

Matt. 28:19-20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
